K110 steel is a high-carbon tool steel for cold forming. It is sometimes referred to as D2. The steel is manufactured by Bohler. This steel is not stainless, as it does not contain sufficient chromium; however, it is highly resistant to pitting corrosion and develops a characteristic matt metallic finish during use.
Bohler K110 knife blades offer excellent wear resistance thanks to an alloy composition designed for toolmaking. It is used as a cost-effective cutlery steel due to its excellent wear resistance and ability to retain a sharp edge. The price-performance ratio is among the best in our range.
